The Women of Africa

The women of Africa are ready and willing to be trained and equipped to care for themselves, their families and their villages.  As we come alongside them, providing the resources, materials and skills, they become independent of outside support.  More than that, they get to see that God’s love is not just a matter of words – it’s as real and tangible as anything they’ve seen, touched or felt before.  As you look into these faces, breathe a prayer that the Lord will continue to allow us to build their independence not only through you, but through many others we would like to see joining you in the effort.

Kids in the Day Care

Take a look at some of the lives you help change when you support Village Empowerment

These children live with relatives or others in the village who often can not or do not want to feed and care for them. Our ladies groups take care of them, feed and teach them, and show love to  them as a loving mother would.  This is done in the village church building, in the evening they go back to the home they stay in.  Some the women take a child or children from the same family home with them.  These ladies and the volunteers that help without pay are the
real heros here.
